I can see you guys have been slammed with requests for V2 and I want to make sure this ticket doesn’t get lost.
I did submit the requested information for a new staging site on Feb 28, late in my day.
Can anyone give me an ETA on when this will be picked up again?
Thanks for your help and assistance.

Thanks for your reply. Please allow me to answer your questions accordingly.
1. You can use the custom CSS code to remove that. Insert into Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
.gd-wgt-cpt-list { background: transparent; } .sidebar li { border-bottom: 0px; }
2. You can reorder it here by moving the [gd_post_rating alignment=’left’ ] shortcode to the bottom
3. Do you mean you want to display more texts? or less?
4. Just fixed this for you and you need to remove the “Get Direction” custom field from your CPTs as shown in the attached image.
5. Routing works when I tested it. Check screenshot
6. That’s all your CPT categories. How do you want it to look like?
7. Probably some 3rd party conflicting with the GD search results, try deactivating each 3rd party one by one and see if it helps.
8. Are you referring to sidebar widget?
9. Removing the title can be done here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#post_content but it will affect all CPT archive listing pages
10. That’s the page title. You can find it in your WP pages.
March 10, 2019 at 9:11 pm #473893Hi Kor,
Thanks for the quick reply!
1. Thank you!
2. Thank you!
3. I believe there’s a way to set how much text appears? I’m not fond of the way “Read More” lies on top of the text beneath it. Please point me to where I can make the adjustment and I’ll work with it.
4. I can remove that. Thanks!
5. Hmm. So maybe that’s something in my computer?
6. I don’t want any CPT categories to show there with the map icons. Is that a widget?
7. I can try. Any clue on what kind of plugin might conflict?
8. Yes, the listing map in the sidebar.
9. I think there’s a misunderstanding. How do I remove only the “Trails” images on that page? https://adventurebrevard.lightningbasehosted.com/trails/ I will eventually have photos, but not now.
10. Ok thanks. Thanks for your assistance, Kor.
March 10, 2019 at 10:05 pm #473898Also, the logos that were uploaded to all the business listings are not appearing on the detail page in the top of the sidebar, as you can see here on the original V1 site:
https://adventurebrevard.com/bike/brevard/squatch-bike-and-brews/Logo missing here on V2:
https://adventurebrevard.lightningbasehosted.com/bike/brevard/squatch-bike-and-brews/Please see bottom of detail page side bar on V2 to see shortcode?
[gd_location_tab_switcher]March 10, 2019 at 11:40 pm #473906Addendum:
5. Ignore response. Works.-RE shortcode on bottom of detail page sidebar: Ignore.
Removed duplicate widget.March 11, 2019 at 2:20 pm #473993Hello,
3) I see the text on the listings is faded into the Read More tag. Can that be adjusted, at least to increase the spacing between the last line and “Read More”?
You can adjust it via following css.
body ul.geodir-category-list-view li .gd-list-item-right .geodir-field-post_content.gd-read-more-wrap { max-height: 180px; }
5. Hmm. So maybe that’s something in my computer?
Please provide us screenshot or video capture what you see.6. I don’t want any CPT categories to show there with the map icons. Is that a widget?
You can adjust it from Backend > Pages > GD Location Template page > Edit > gd_categories shortcode.
See for more details: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_categories7. I can try. Any clue on what kind of plugin might conflict?
You can check by disabling non-GD plugin one by one to find which plugin conflicts with search.
8) I noticed that in some instances when I search for a particular CPT category — such as Waterfalls, Art, etc.
Can give example page whare and what you want to display there?
9. I think there’s a misunderstanding. How do I remove only the “Trails” images on that page?
If you are asking about featured image of each listing then it can be adjusted from CPT (Trails) > Settings > General > Default image. Or it can be adjusted from category default image.

March 12, 2019 at 2:42 am #474094Hello Kiran,
Thank you so much!3. Thank you. Resolved.
5. Resolved earlier, as stated above.
6. Where do I find “Backend?” Thanks for the link to the doc.
7. Testing plugins to look for conflict.
8. Example page: https://adventurebrevard.lightningbasehosted.com/lodging-2/
This is a non-GD page that will be the “hub” page to the lodging section of the magazine. I’d like to be put the map and listings for the CPT Stay on this page. Is that a widget or shortcode?
9. There is no default image setting on that page. See attached screenshot.
and from above:
11. Also, the logos that were uploaded to all the business listings are not appearing on the detail page in the top of the sidebar, as you can see here on the original V1 site:
https://adventurebrevard.com/bike/brevard/squatch-bike-and-brews/Logo missing here on V2:
https://adventurebrevard.lightningbasehosted.com/bike/brevard/squatch-bike-and-brews/Note: I did do some CSS customizaton on V1 to change the size of the listing logos that may need to be removed. I don’t see the old CSS in the Appearance>Customize field.
Thank you.

8. Yes, they look to be the same. So I can add the map and listing shortcode to a non-GD page, along with non-GD text, articles, photos etc?
9. Got it. Thanks. Removed the default image but it also removed it from the CPT listing widget in the sidebar, as well as the listings page. Is there a way to only remove the default category image from the listings page? See attached screenshot.
11. So, what does that mean for all the listings from V1 that aren’t showing the logo? What do I need to do?

Thanks for your continued support.

9. Got it. Thanks. Removed the default image but it also removed it from the CPT listing widget in the sidebar, as well as the listings page. Is there a way to only remove the default category image from the listings page? See attached screenshot.
If you want to remove the default category image particularly from the listings page then it is not possible.
But if you want to remove the default category image from globally then you can remove it from CPT > Categories > Edit Category > Default Image > Remove—
11. So, what does that mean for all the listings from V1 that aren’t showing the logo? What do I need to do?
It seems something wrong during v1 to v2 conversion, i will check and fix it. Let you know once i fix it.

KiranMarch 14, 2019 at 1:25 am #474429Thanks Kiran.
RE:
7)From the search bar on the location page here: https://adventurebrevard.lightningbasehosted.com/location/you get a weird string of what should be listings when you click on any CPT here: https://adventurebrevard.lightningbasehosted.com/search/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_waterfalls&s=+&snear=&slocation%5B%5D=&sort_by=&saccessibility%5B%5D=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
7. Probably some 3rd party conflicting with the GD search results, try deactivating each 3rd party one by one and see if it helps.
I just deactivated each 3rd party plugin one by one and the problem was not resolved. The only plugins I did not deactivate and test were 1) inactive plugins 2) Geodirectory plugins.
What’s the next step?
Thanks again.
March 14, 2019 at 1:31 pm #474487Hello,
7) Search page results issue
Fixed.

11) The logos that were uploaded to all the business listings are not appearing on the detail page in the top of the sidebar, as you can see here on the original V1 site:
This is fixed, but we need phpMyAdmin database access to fix on your site.
Let us know.
