    Hello,

I am trying to migrate from Sabai to GD, and I have the entries moved into the template for import into GD. However, when I import, the post_id changes which I need to stay the same for importing hours into the third party plugin.

Also, is there a way to sort by post_id in the backend? I see you can sort by comments, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to import comments.

    Thank you,

    Cappy

    Hi,

post id is always set by the application, there is no way to pre-assign it.

The only solution would be to manually change them from phpmyadmin after the import.

    Thanks

Then why have a spot for it in the sample import file?

And then why do you have these options on the import page?

Update listing if post with post_id already exists.
Ignore listing if post with post_id already exists.

    Hi,

we have that field to update existing listings, when you select : Update listing if post with post_id already exists.

    Thanks

Is there anyway to batch create 3,700 listings so that I can then import them with the same ID’s?

    Hi Cappy,

If you have entered post ID in post_id column then it must be referenced to WordPress post ID. By importing you can not set post ID which not exist in WordPRess posts database.

You can import as many listings you want in a batch.

    > Update listing if post with post_id already exists.
< If post with post_id already exists in posts database then it will update that listing OTHERWISE it will create a new listing with new post ID.

    > Ignore listing if post with post_id already exists.
< If post with post_id already exists in posts database then it will skips updating that listing OTHERWISE it will create a new listing with new post ID.

For more on import/export see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/

    Thanks,
    Kiran
