    Hi there,

We are trying to set up an offline payment option and it appears the only way to do that is pre-bank transfer. We don’t necessarily want it to be a bank transfer. We will contact the subscriber to arrange payment offline, whether that be cash or check, etc. We also want subscribers to be able to pay with PayPal. So they should have the option to pay with paypal on the site or be invoiced later.

    So two things:
1 – Can we set up pre-bank transfer to do something like that? Just leave out the bank details?
2 – I have enabled that but it’s not showing on the checkout. Screenshot attached.

Steps to see that it’s not showing on checkout:
    1 – Log into http://bluecricketmedia.com/client-pwp/login/
    2 – Go to http://bluecricketmedia.com/client-pwp/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_product
3 – Fill out the information and click submit
4 – See the checkout only has PayPal

    Thanks for your help!

Several gateways including Paypal can be used for recurring packages, however pre-bank transfer cannot.

Sales of recurring packages require that an arrangement is made for automatic payments.

For this kind of payment you can setup a fixed duration package that can use the pre-bank transfer gateway.

Thank you. If I turn off the recurring and someone purchases with PayPal. Will they get a notice that they need to renew close to the 1-year deadline?

Yes, when a package that is not recurring is about to expire then the pre-expiry emails will be sent. Those can be found under the ‘Emails’ tab in the GD Settings.

Alternatively, you can have 2 packages, a monthly recurring, and a yearly one time payment.

It is also possible to leave the annual one-time non-recurring package inactive, and just turn it on when you need to add one of the manual invoices.

    Thank you, that worked!
