    Hello,

Is it possible to work with predefined tags? When users add a new place I only want them to be able to use some predefined tags. For example if I use Bar, Restaurant, … as categories, I want to add tags like: Wifi, Pet-friendly, accessible for wheelchair,…

    Can this be done?

    Hello!

Yes and no, you can take a look here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/choice-of-tags-when-users-add-a-listing/

You can certainly add those tags in advance, and recommend that users enter them. There is also the option to limit the number of tags that can be used on each listing (default is 40). There isn’t a way to force only certain tags, though, out of the box.

However, those values are usually created with custom fields, so that they can be exposed to advance search.

    Hello!

    Thanks for the answer.
I’ve added a custom field (multi select) to my places. (GD –> Places settings –> custom fields)
I’ve marked ‘Yes’ at the last question (advanced search) but I cant see it in my advanced search. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello!

Only Select fields can be added to Advanced Search, not MultiSelect.
