December 17, 2019 at 4:18 pm #521963Hello. I’ve found myself a bit confused. We currently have a ‘business’ listing feature which users can have a 3 month trial of. At the moment, the listings aren’t changing back to the ‘free’ listing beyond the trial date finishing. Do they need to be set to expire? We don’t want listings to disappear, just downgrade to the free version. Users pay with Paypal. It’s like nothing is happening once the trial expires. Have I missed something in the settings? No payments appear to have gone through once the user has continued beyond the trial. I feel like I’ve missed something major here. December 17, 2019 at 4:35 pm #521971Yes, the expiry process must be enabled, that is when they are downgraded when the package expires. December 17, 2019 at 4:38 pm #521976Thanks! Is there a way to force a check on already expired posts? December 17, 2019 at 4:41 pm #521978Yes, in GD – States – Tools – Listing expire check https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/status/#expire-check December 17, 2019 at 4:59 pm #521983I’ve run the tool but it doesn’t appear to have updated them? How long does it usually take? There’s only 46 listings. December 17, 2019 at 6:02 pm #521992It is very quick. You may want to check the settings again and make sure the package has the downgrade settings you are looking for. December 17, 2019 at 6:07 pm #521995Currently the ‘business’ listing is set to ‘expire’ on downgrade. Is that correct? Didn’t let me pick our free package explicitly as a downgrade option. December 17, 2019 at 7:22 pm #522017The free package should not be recurring. January 1, 2020 at 4:50 pm #523602Hi! Just to update, the expiry setting is now on and the listings have been updated as ‘expired’ or cancelled. What I’m finding though, is that listings which have ‘expired’ are not reverting back to the free listing package and are still being shown in the premium listing format. Is there anything I can do to rectify this other that edit each listing manually? January 14, 2020 at 5:13 pm #525576Hi. Sorry to chase but would someone be able to log in to my website and check the settings? Now customers are receiving emails about their listings expiring even though they’ve paid for the subscription. Listings still aren’t downgrading either. My client is starting to get quite frustrated now so I’d like to get this sorted ASAP please. Thanks! January 15, 2020 at 6:19 am #525660Hello, yes, we can check. A couple of things, though. Can you share a link to one of the listings that is not behaving? And please describe how the listing was added. Through the frontend? Recurring? Payment made through a gateway? Write back with WP Admin credentials in a private reply along with login URL so we can check the settings. January 21, 2020 at 6:48 am #526642Hello @rainbowwebservices, I checked and it correctly received cancel subscription notification at website end from PayPal. It did not managed a listing status on cancellation of subscription. I want to do a test with sandbox account. Please provide a staging site or allow us to enable sandbox mode on your site to test and to check what causing issue in handling listing downgrade process on cancellation of subscription. Thanks for your patience. Kiran
