Dear GD support team,
I wanted to know if there is any way to configure price packages to allow a certain number of listings (instead of the default “per listing” invoicing).
I am configuring a new website for an events directory, where users will need to be able to purchase monthly subscriptions and have access to a given set of features (description length, number of images, custom fields, etc.) and also to a specified number of listings (e.g. “basic” subscription allows for up to 2 listings per month, “medium” subscription allows for up to 5 listings per month, etc.).
I have seen that this has already been asked/requested in the past (see for example https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/maximum-number-of-listing/) but there have not been any more updates about this topic and I don’t find a way to properly configure packages this way.
Many directories are using this approach today (and various users have asked for it in the past years). This approach is effectively more usable than having the users pay every single time for every single new listing they add.
NB: The approach suggested in the above mentioned topic (using other plugins like S2Member for providing access to the add listing page), would only work for subscriptions with unlimited listings, which is not my case (there might be a top tier subscription, which has unlimited listings, but all other subscriptions need to be limited to a fixed maximum amount of listings).
NB2: I already tried other directory plugins which offer the ability of creating packages both on a per-listing and subscription base, but honestly they suck in comparison to GeoDirectory, on all levels spanning from usability to performance.
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Kind regards
