Where or how do I see how a package looks like online?

I have the install the “WP Invoicing Plugin” to price packages. The packages I create in “paces-settings-packages” only shows a list of options to select or fill, but does not show how are they going to look online (a “view” option). I can a list of the packages created in the “Invoicing-Items”option, but I can’t see the “view” option and can’t edit the “package”

Could you please lead me to edit the “packages” and find out where or how I can see them online?

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

They basically all will look the same by default, but some packages will allow more options to be added, or they can be featured etc.
If you want them to look different, then you can add options that will show only for some packages, or you can make them look different with CSS styling.
To see how they look online, create a few test listings and change the package for them, to see the differences.

If you explain in more details what you have in mind, we may be able to give more specific information.

    Thanks

Mr. Guust, Thank you very much for your answer.

I also have the “s2Member Pro Plugin” to create memberships.

What I want to do with my directory, is to have membership access and only two kinds, one for free access and one with a charge. These two memberships will be the Packages/Items.

For the “s2Member Pro” configuration, I have to assign a “level” to each of them, but I can’t edit the Package/Items, is there a CSS styling available to edit?

Also, what can I do to see the “Package/Item” how they look online?

Thank you again for your help!

S2 is for user registration (Memberships), GD is for post (listing) submissions.

If you want to charge for becoming a registered user, you want S2. That is done with S2 PayPal or Stripe options.
If you want to charge for adding a listing, you will need the GD Pricing Manager.

Memberships cannot be Price Packages because they are two different things.
Hopefully that is a bit clearer now?

Also, what can I do to see the “Package/Item” how they look online?

To see how they look online, create a few test listings and change the package for them, to see the differences.

    Thanks

What would you want to combine them for?
You asked earlier about memberships, not paid listings.
Charging a fee per memberships is a good idea if you want users to add unlimited listings for free during a period, for example $20 per month for adding as many events as you like.
But if you want to charge for each listing, then there is no need for a membership plugin, at least not for adding listings.

    Thanks

Mr. Guus, thank you for your reply.

I do not want to combine the plugins, it is the matter of lack of knowledge how to built my directory and try to make some money from users adding a listing.

My original question was that “I want to implement the process of selling memberships and that each membership can add only one listing”

From what you said (#503457) I asume that working with “packages” I will be able to make money when someone add a listing and that I should forget about “s2Member plugin”. Right?

Or, once I have bought the “s2Member plugin” do you thing is possible to sell memberships instead of packages, just like the great idea you mentioned above?

Correct, that is the simplest option.

Selling memberships [aka user registrations] is completely independent of adding listings.

All users need to register before they add a listing, you can do that with or without a membership plugin.

Mr. Guus, thank you for your reply.

Yes, I understand that membership is completely independent of adding listings.

I need to know, once I have the membership plugin and that I have invested 89USD in it, if I can use it within the GeoDirectory…

    in #503436, you said
“S2 is for user registration (Memberships), GD is for post (listing) submissions”
    I understood that I can’t use s2Member into Geodirectory?

Can I use it or not? I mean, is s2Member Plugin compatible with GeoDirectory plugin?

    Hi,

for what you requested in the original question, you don’t need a membership plugin.

You can create 3 prices with the pricing manager:

    Free Membership
    Full Membership
    Premium Membership

When users add a listing, they will be requested to pay, so each listing will be equal to one payment.

S2member has a 14 days refund policy and if you explain the situation, I hope they’ll be wise enough to grant a refund.

In case they don’t, please let me know (we’ll stop referring people to them if they are that greedy) and we’ll provide a coupon for the $89.

    Thanks
