    Hello
    I would like your help again 🙂
    It’s about the blog page.
    I use the default blog page of the theme, and set it as post page under Settings–>Reading. I am trying to use a featured image for this page but the image of the latest post is shown as a featured image instead. Only when i don’t set it as the selected post page that the featured image of my choice is shown.
    2) Also i’m having trouble resizing the images in general even if i set the large image to width 1400px.
    Cannot find a solution

    Hello,

    1) Which theme are you using? That sounds like Supreme. If so, yes, that is the way the blog page works, it shows the featured image of the first post listing. Changing that would require a customization.

    2) WordPress has built in image sizes, have you tried changing those ?

    2) Yes i changed it from media. I set large size to recommended featured image size 1400×788 but it doesn’t look good. My original image is 2000×1300

    For 2) please share a link to a page where we can see the issue.

    You can add that in a private reply along with WP Admin credentials in case we need to check the settings.

    Hello,

    Supreme is a full width theme and the blog uses a full width feature area.

    The feature area shows the featured image as the background with a height of 350, but that height is like a window looking on the featured image set behind it.

    Whatever image is uploaded is the stretched to fit the width of the browser window. If someone browses at 1920 width, then the image is stretched to 1920 width.

    It’s possible to hide that featured area, maybe then you can put your images in the content area?

    body.single-post .featured-area {
        display: none;
    }
