Problem with excessive size of the DOM

    Hello and excuse my English. I´m Spanish and I speak this language very little.

    I’ve created a directory with GeoDirectory V2 and Themeforest’s theme Soledad and it’s great.

    But it goes very slowly and when analyzing it with PageSpeed, it tells me among other things that it has an excessive size of DOM (1900 elements) when it should be 60-100 maximum. Can you tell me how to solve it?

    I would also welcome any advice on increasing the speed of the web, beyond mining-and-combining CSS, optimizing images, and pre-loading fonts.

    Finally, I wanted to ask how the free translator membership works. I have all the plugins and Core translated to Spanish and it might be interesting.

    Hello,

    inability to edit settings is usually a plugin conflict. Please try disabling non-GD addons to see which one is causing that and let us know what you find.

    Can you share the URL of the event you are trying to import? Then we can test it.

    Hi, Alex.
    I have tried to disable all the plugins I have one by one, even some of the GeoDirectory plugins and the fields are still locked.

    I also tried to change the Theme from Listimia to Supreme Directory in case it was a problem and it wasn’t fixed.

    On the other hand it’s not just one event that multiplies the images, it’s all of them (I’m sending you a screenshot of my media library and the social importer settings) and a URL of a duplicate event as an example.

    We will need to check that on your site, it should not create copies of the images and all the buttons should work.
