Hey! How are you? I’m having trouble uploading listings through the bulk import feature. I keep getting the error: 1 / 1 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).
I’m not sure what the problem is. I used the sample CSV file and just changed some data. I’ve attached the modified sample file I’m trying to upload.
Thanks in advance.

I cannot see any immediate formatting issues with the sheet. Have you tried adding the listing manually and comparing the values you are trying to import?
Which editor did you use? Only LibreOffice is recommended.
June 6, 2018 at 8:22 pm #433985HI,
your location are a bit of a mess. You don’t have a default location and that is causing most of the problems. You probably activated the location manager before creating a default location.
Please deactivate the location manager, set your default location and than reactivate the location manager.
Once that done the import should work fine.
Let us know how it goes,
Thanks
June 6, 2018 at 9:30 pm #434001Thanks. I tried that and I’m still having the same problem. I deactivated the multi location, set New York as the default location and then re-enabled multi location. I even used a new CSV. I’m still getting the same error. I’m attaching the new CSV to this message in case you want to check it out.
June 6, 2018 at 9:36 pm #434003The error is in the CSV now.
You have city : New York City
Region : blank
Country : United States. You must have:
City: New York
Region: New York
Country: United StatesAll the rest in the CSV looks good. Your location are still a mess. You should delete them all and only add location while adding a listing for that location. Having empty locations is a big mistakes that will cause your website to have countless soft 404 errors.
Thanks
June 7, 2018 at 8:15 am #434067Thanks a lot. Is there any quick way to delete all the locations? The one from the dashboard only deletes a few at a time and will take forever.
June 7, 2018 at 8:21 am #434069I figured out how to delete all the locations and I’ve done it. I’m still having a problem with the CSV. I modified it as per your instructions. I’ve attached it to this message.
June 7, 2018 at 5:44 pm #434120Hi,
this is very strange, everything looks correct to me too now. Could you provide FTP credentials so that we can check the debug log for more info about the error?
Let us know,
Thanks
June 8, 2018 at 6:43 am #434172Hi Sameep,
There are illegal characters in description & address field (see attachment). I corrected it and now it successfully imported.
I have attached corrected csv file.
Thanks,
