    1 – Is there an option that all places that are uploaded by registered visitors must be reviewed by admin before they are posted to the site?
    2 – Is there a way to display the person that has uploaded the specific place, or do I need to use the buddypress plug in for this?

    1. Yes: GD > design > listings > New listing default status > Draft

    2. You will need the Claims addon for that: https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/claim-manager/
