Random pagination broken

    This issue was brought up last year. It has not been resolved, and now my client wants me to explore WPGEO alternatives if it cannot be remedied. Can anything be done. For a additional fee?

    All they want is for the search results to be random if all equal, and for page 1 and page 2 to stay the same at least while they click back and forth.

    The other issue is that some businesses do not show up, you have to click back and forth a couple times for them to show up. This is quite an oversight.

    Hi,

    this is not a bug, nor anything is broken, this is how random sorting works in WordPress. We told you the same thing last year too.

    WooCommmerce or any other plugin will work the same way…

    This can only be considered a customization request and unfortunately right now we don’t have the resources to work for individual members’ requests. Not even for a fee.

    It would dramatically slow down development for the entire community.

    If you want I can move this in the jobs section of the forum, however we can’t guarantee that you will get an answer in there, because this isn’t a simple taks at all…

    I have never tested random pagination with ajax pagination, I’m not sure it will work and in any case it still require a customization.

    GD doesn’t provide ajax pagination.
