September 8, 2014 at 11:41 pm #14709Excellent! Glad to see more frequent updates again. I know it adds more to the effort, but would love to start getting some new feature/change log type details as well. cheers September 9, 2014 at 2:28 am #14719Thats great! But i would really like if the autoupdate feature would work for those who bought the plugins through theme tailors :). Possible ETA? September 9, 2014 at 8:38 am #14748Thanks for the updates! +1 on getting an idea of what bugs have been fixed and features added (assuming this is what a change log is) September 9, 2014 at 10:54 am #14773September 9, 2014 at 11:12 am #14780thanks Guust cheers September 9, 2014 at 7:59 pm #14830I have updated everything and it looks like I am getting a small conflict with yoast. Everything seem to work but it is throwing this error on the top of the page until I choose a city. Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/oocaldir/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory_hooks_actions.php on line 1158 September 9, 2014 at 8:03 pm #14832Hi Oocal, yes, that’s been reported and it will be fixed in next release. Please read here for quick fix. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/error-on-home-page-with-recent-updates/ Thank you! September 9, 2014 at 9:10 pm #14843Thanks for change-log! September 10, 2014 at 10:58 am #14910Hi Paolo, I am running my WP site (3.9.2) on a MAMP test server and just updated my GeoDirectory plugin for the second time today. And for the second time the site went completely blank, backend and frontend. I got it back the first time by changing and renaming files and re-uploading plugins etc. Just reinstalling the backup that I had run just before the update did not work. I have only basic knowledge of (wordpress) programming but was able to find out that what happened to me is called the White Screen of Death. What happened here and how can I fix it? Is there an easy fix or do I need to spend another 2h recreating the site? Although I used the same files (like style.css and functions.php) as before for some reason WP did not recognize parts of the code or told me that there were errors where there hadn’t been. I had to rewrite code in order to make it look and function the same way. Extremely bizarre. Thanks for your help. September 10, 2014 at 4:53 pm #14960Hi, That’s definitely not normal behaviour and nobody else reported similar problems… Can you please send a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply so that we can see what’s going on? Thank you September 10, 2014 at 10:55 pm #15014Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I will upload the site tonight and will send you link after that. Thanks a lot.
CheersSeptember 13, 2014 at 4:01 pm #15259Hi Paolo – i have the same bug as oocal, but can’t see your reply. I’m currently trying to setup Geodirectory in free mode right now to see if it’s right for us but got this error and can’t fix without now paying for support. September 13, 2014 at 5:11 pm #15271Hi, the answer was : Hi guys, This is just a PHP warning not an error, should really be hidden on a live site, the problem seems to be a fix for Yost seo plugin we added, for now you can add this to your theme functions.php to supress the PHP warnings and we will release a fix later. error_reporting(E_ERROR); Thanks, StiofanThx September 16, 2014 at 1:08 am #15509This reply has been marked as private.
