    Hi guys,

    Is it possible to remove the field label from output location on the listings page?

    https://rootstage.whatsonhub.com/search/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_deal&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=&city=kingston-upon-hull

    If you look at link above, you should see one item there. The label needs to be there for when users submit their listing, but I’d like to hide the label ‘Applies to a business/place?:” and just show the icon and value.

    I’ve tried manually adding it into the template as a post_meta and a post_badge but both output a full listing item within that one.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Output location uses the ‘default’ settings for each field for GD Post Meta, which is icon+label+value.

    Instead of trying to change that output, you can use GD Post Meta instead.

    If you are working on the Archive Item, then just add a new shortcode for the field you want.

    For example you might want to setup GD Post Claim or GD Post Meta.

    Use the shortcode builder to create it exactly how you want.

    Hi Alex,

    I’ve tried manually adding it into the Archive Item template already using the shortcode builder. I’ve tried post_meta and post_badge but both just output the full listing item within that one, rather than just the title and icon.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    try this css in the customizer

    div.geodir_post_meta.geodir-field-gd_place span.geodir_post_meta_title {
        display: none;
    }
