    Hello,

I am testing the renewal process on my site and have noticed some glitches:

    1. when I get to the Listing Preview Page the text at the top says: ‘This is a preview of your listing and its not published yet’ – this can’t be right? Starting the renewal process doesn’t take the listing down does it? – regardless of having 10 days left to run on the original subscription? (it should have been “it’s” not “its” anyway – sorry for being pedantic!). See point 4 below, which is related.

    2. On same page, the right hand button says ‘Continue to Upgrade Now’ – this should be ‘Continue to Renew Now’ – customers may be concerned that they will be paying to upgrade not renew and abort the process – leading to loss of revenue, or, more likely, hassle of having them contact me to check if this is right!

    3. At checkout, the invoice bit says ‘Upgrade listing: xxxxxx’ not ‘Renew Listing’ – may have same effect as 2., above.

    4. After checkout (pre-bank-transfer) the listing is not live, until such time as the invoice is changed to Confirmed from Pending – regardless of the fact that there were still 10 days from the original subscription to run. I think if it is set up to need the invoice status to be renewed/kept live, then the listing should not be taken down until the end of the expiry date (if the invoice has not been set to ‘confirmed’).

    5. The ‘Acknowledgement of Payment Details’ email to the customer itemises the payment as ‘Item Name: Upgrade Listing xxxx’ instead of ‘Renew Listing’. Looking at the notifications in Prices and Payment > Notifications, I think this is the field [#transaction_details#] being set incorrectly – I don’t think I have control over this.

    6. Admin email received was the ‘Payment success to admin email’, subject line: ‘Payment transaction details’ (with ‘Item Name: Upgrade Listing: xxxx’ in the body of the email’) instead of the ‘Post renewal success to admin email’.

I think it is going to be very important for me to be exactly clear what type of transaction I am dealing with (Upgrades or Renewals) so that I don’t get into a muddle when dealing with customers and also allowing me to keep my records straight – so hope you can have a look at this.

The good news: the listing days were updated correctly: to the original renewal date plus the extra year!

Login creds to follow – I’ll have to set up another listing to need renewing so you can test.

    Thanks.
