reset (without any reason) of the fields of a Category

    Hi all,
    we have a CPT Category called “Host and Guest”
    we have a problem with the List of fields those appear on add new Host and Guest listing Form

    The system resets these fields without any reason.

    The user Annalisa added the Listing called “Appartamento sull’Arno”. The lising has been added in italian, so you can not find thi listing in English version

    the user have set the fileds as you can see below:

    1 Advance notice: 2 days
    2 Preparation time between reservation: 2 days
    3 Booking window: 3 months

    In italian:
    1 Preavviso : 2 giorni
    2 Giorni di preparazione tra una prenotazione e l’altra : 2 giorni
    3 Finestra di prenotazione : 3 mesi

    As Admin, We went to admin’s wp interface to approve the listing “Appartamento sull’Arno”, but
    the system had reset the 3 fields as you can see below

    1 Advance notice: same day
    2 Preparation time between reservation: 0 day
    3 Booking window: any time

    Moreover the System completeley clears the values of 2 following fields

    4-Amenities *
    5-Common spaces

    In Italian
    4-Servizi *
    5-Spazi comuni

    Please can you help to fix this problem.

    Hi Giacomo,

    I have updated and backend edit page at least shows edit listing in current language. Please see http://curiocity.travel/wp-admin/post.php?post=105641&action=edit&lang=it

    There is still the field “Giorni di preparazione tra una prenotazione e l’altra” doesn’t shows selected value.

    But can’t able to debug more as FTP account details you provided has no access to file editing, So please provide full access to file editing.

    Also your site is running with older version of WPML & GeoDirectory + GeoDirectory addons, so please update it first.

    Hi Kiran, thank you for your support.

    The FTP access is correct. But our FTP access can not write files.

    So, you should tell me the files you are going to edit , so that we can change the rights of the FTP access on these files, in order to let you edit them.

    Hi,

    All files GeoDirectory + GeoDirectory addons, and also for wp-config.php file so we cab enable/disable debug mode.

    Hi Kiran,
    now the FTP user has the Write Rights on the Files at the following path

    /wp-content/plugins/geodir_custom_posts

    /wp-content/themes

    wp-config.php

    Please , let me know if you need Write Rights on other Files,

    Hi Giacomo,

    Still not able to rename file wp-config.php. Check screenshot what error log it shows.

    Please give access to directory /wp-content/plugins/.
    We need access for “All files GeoDirectory + GeoDirectory addons, and also for wp-config.php file”.

    You have WPML 3.5.3 installed and latest is 3.6.2.
    You have GeoDirectory 1.6.8 installed and latest is 1.6.15.
    PLEASE UPDATE site to latest WordPress & WPML, GeoDirectory + GeoDirectory addons.

    New versions have fixed some issues so after update, at least we able to filter problem, that it because of old versions or other reason.

    Hi Kiran,
    we have set Write Rights on the Files at the following path

    /wp-content/plugins/

    wp-config.php

    We tested by using FTP credentials and we can modify files.

    we have updated WPML with the last version.

    About GD we have to put off the upadate in order not to cancel a lot of custom software modifications.

    It is likely that the GAP between the latest version and the installed version does not fix or influence our issue.
