Revision History Disabled when GD enabled

    This has been a big issue for me and the reason I have not been able to use the plugin. I have had to use revisions of posts a LOT when building sites so it feels very dangerous to have it disabled. A small error can cause hours of rebuild work. I know revisions bulk the database but it is a worthy trade off in my mind.

    Anyways, the solution from 2016 does not work for me. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/revisions-missing/

    I added the solution to the WP-config file but no change. Revisions are still disabled on all posts and pages. Pages are most important for me right now.

    Widgets must be added to the widget areas.

    All the widget areas labeled with “GD” can have “GD” widgets added to them.

    About revisions, please share FTP Credentials so we can check the settings in WP Config.

    I was not using widgets.When I set the system up originally, I just added places and they showed up automatically. I then disabled the system because it was breaking the revision history. When I reenabled it the other day, the page was no longer loading. I now see all sorts of GD things in the widget area. It must have been that the settings in the widgets were erased during the 2 months since I started the project.

    Any ideas on why I cannot see my revisions?

    I have flagged your question about enabling revisions for the developers. They will take a look and let you know.

    Geodirectory ‘works’ with widgets, so adding one to the page made the listings display again. Choose additional widget that show the listings you want on your GD Home page.

    define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', 99);

    before line 

    /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

    in wp-config.php file.
