Every day we’re finding Comments in the trash file. Nothing showing on the front end though, only in the admin area. Is there any way to stop them? Thanks

You can restrict commenting to registered users. And make sure you use recaptcha for registrations.
You must be using some plugin to make spam comments go straight to trash, they usually go to spam first?
