Schema Type for Custom Post Type – what is schema type ?

    i created a custom post type:

    Products

    i then went to add a category and found the following at the bottom of the add category form:

    Schema Type

    and a long list of selections

    1. what are schema types? i didn’t find anything in the GD docs

    2. can i see each of the selections? like what they would do?

    3. can i create a custom schema type?

    i didn’t see a “product” schema type (whatever that might ultimately be) so i didn’t create a category until i understand schema types and the long list of options displayed and how each one is different
