Search By Custom Type Not Working

Hi,

I have bought the entier GD package and activated all plugins(Not sure how many i need or gonna use). But, i have tried to setup 2 custom types namely “Training Centers” and “Training Facilities”. But if try to search by a selected post type, the result still shows all posts in the db and does not apply the post type filter i am selecting. Am i doing something wrong here?. Further if a directory entry can be both a “Training Center” and “Training Facility”, then the post type restriction might not let me configure my information correctly. So, am i doing something wrong?. Is there any guide on what plugin could be used for what purpose?. May be i am doing something wrong in the way i am trying to structure my information.
