    No, That was already set correctly.

    The core was updated to latest version.
    The addons were not updating.

    Hi,

    the problem seems to be with GD Booster, disabling it brings the site back to normal, I’ve asked to Stiofan to double check what’s wrong with it now.

    If you don’t want your website to get broken between updates (thing that could always happen), you should setup a staging website identical to the live website, where you do all tests and update theme and plugins in advance to make sure everything is intact before updating in the production website.

    This is how it is normally done by anyone that is serious with his website…

    I disabled the Booster like you recommended.
    The site does not go back to normal after disabling it.

    There are still many errors and missing content.

    Please let me know if Stiofan will be able to look at this soon or if I need to contact my hosting provider right away and try to get an old copy up.

    Probably would be better to have a testing area but I do not. Thanks for making me feel like crap about that….

    If i revert back to old system then how will Stiofan be able to examine it and look for the issue?

    Hi,

    with GD Booster enabled your home page right sidebar was missing and the ads were all over the place.

    However after disabling GD Booster all that was working correctly and Stiofan actually already fixed that.

    What is missing still? Please don’t revert back now, or we won’t be able to assist.

    Let’s try to fix this now.

    Thank you for helping out with this.

    The most notable issue I see right now is the homepage is not displaying correctly.

    I am using page name “Home -MN – Front Page” as home page.
    It is set within the WP settings -> reading , as well as designated within Geodirectory -> permalinks.

    About the booster. I am confused. Is it now disabled? If it is disabled will I not be able to have this booster working to improve site speed?

    Please make us understand how that home page should look like in your vision, because according to your settings, it shows exactly as it should.

    If you don’t want it to have GD widgets in it like it does, than you shouldn’t be setting it as GD Home in GD >> Permalinks.

    hi,

    if the home page you want to use is not the GD home, you shouldn’t select it in GeoDirectory >> Permalinks as the GD Home. You should leave the default GD Home there…

    I’ve done it for you, is now your homepage looking as it should?

    Thank you, it looks correct now.
    I guess I misunderstood the change that was needed after the update for that to take effect, I thought it had already been set correctly since the GD core plugin had been updating normally all along.

    Back to where this thread began ->

    I am trying to consolidate The wordpress & buddypress & geodirectory Register/Log-in pages into the same one. The code I set in the functions file was not working before, which led us to the needing to update addons issue.
    I will give another go at inserting the code you listed into the functions file, will let you know how it goes.
