    Hi,

i am actually facing some problems.

error #1: when someone enter a new ad, when he wants to see a preview of it, this first error message appears ( see attachment error).

error #2: when you select “publish” to validate your ad, it tells you that you can see this ad by clicking on the link but when you click on it it says that nothing was found ( see attachment error2b)

error #3: when someone validate his ad, he receives a mail confirming that his ad is officially on the website. But there are weird things on the mail details. And there are also those weird things in the mail that the person receives when he creates a login on the website to publish ad. ( see attachment error 3)

    1 please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/preview-slider-not-showing/#post-16248

2 the URL showing on that screenshot is wrong. Seems to be another server issue, did you recently change server?

3 those are dynamic tags that should show the login url and so on. Your server is not parsing them.

Please provide admin credentials and we will check the last 2 points.

    Thanks

Paolo i am sorry but i don t infectant à thing to the tropi you linked in your message.

It seems That there is an option That That needs to be activated somewhere to enable a right preview.

But for a beginner like me it is hard to undertand a thing.

    Hi,

it is not an option within wordpress or geodirectory, it is a php option that needs to be turned on by your hosting provider.

Just ask for support to them and ask them to turn on the PHP setting “allow_url_fopen”.

    Thanks

Dear paolo, the error for the preview is now fixed.

    But what about the problem #2 & 3 ?

    Have you found a solution?

Did you try disabling all non GD Plugins momentarely to see if these problems would go away?

If they don’t please provide phpmyadmin or cpanel credentials, I think there could be something wrong in the database.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

i suspect 2&3 are related, i on’t know what exactly is going on, i suspect it might be a plugin conflict but it might be a server issue. If you provide FTP i will check.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
