Whenever I get time [between hanging out here to do some work :)] I keep working (playing) on this one: http://wizztravel.com/
September 17, 2014 at 11:21 pm #15770Julian,
Did you have to do anything different to get revslider to show up? I’ve been fighting with it and it won’t show. Tried to shut down plugins to see if there was a conflict but no luck. I’m using GDF child theme. I’ve tried other themes too but it won’t show…
October 1, 2014 at 11:52 pm #17220Hey Greg,
How you did your address look like this
Address: 222 Islington Ave, Toronto, Ontario, M8V 3W7, Canada
with “,”
Thanks,
DmitriOctober 2, 2014 at 12:39 am #17221@dmitri: I used the following css (it’s a little goofy because the code doesn’t provide semantically meaningful classes, but it gets the job done):
#geodir-sidebar .geodir_more_info br { display: none; } #geodir-sidebar .geodir_more_info span[itemprop]:after { content: ", "; }October 2, 2014 at 1:57 am #17227Thank you so much!!!
October 7, 2014 at 8:33 pm #17721Just Testing the possibilities in my native language Bengali. lots of work to do for mobile optimization. any suggestion will be helpful.
November 2, 2014 at 6:06 pm #20333Hi Cherubini, no, i don’t make nothing in special, for the revslider, but i don’t use the child theme, i using the main one.
Maybe it’s the reason
RegardsNovember 29, 2014 at 12:16 am #22986Hi Greg
Question? I noticed you did not a child theme in your list? (no GDF, etc) how did you handled the 5 virtual pages which are supposed to go with the theme?
I have 3 pages just running WP Geodirectory plugin and it is acting funny.
I’ve also installed the Canvas WooTheme, your insights would be greatly apprecitaed .
Thanks
November 29, 2014 at 1:04 am #22989The virtual pages go with the plugin, not a theme.
November 29, 2014 at 4:24 am #22993@msgliniewicz: We switched from Canvas to Genesis. Canvas is great, but Genesis is better. 🙂
November 29, 2014 at 4:30 am #22994I should also note that we have dropped GD on that site and will be re-launching http://www.torontomindbody.org using a different tool, so my original post in this thread is pretty much moot. We still have GD implemented on http://www.animalequity.org so that would be the place to go for a showcase of GD core and location manager on Genesis framework… and cats.
November 30, 2014 at 7:15 am #23075Hi Greg – your Torontomindbody site looks great – are we allowed to ask what plugin you used for the events?
I think I’ll be going with Genesis, so I hope my site ends up looking as good as yours 🙂
November 30, 2014 at 7:49 am #23076Hi Jane. Thanks for the kind words. The events calendar is built with… The Events Calendar.
November 30, 2014 at 10:19 am #23091Thanks Greg – I really like how that works 🙂
December 1, 2014 at 2:38 pm #23166We use The Events Calendar on Progressive Lawyer as well and it is great!
