    I’m seriously considering the Avada theme but Dave’s experience gives me pause. What kind of issues did you have?

    I see the question and answer on Avada was four months ago, but thought I’d try asking anyway. Anyone else have experience with Avada?

    The Avada theme works well with GD, but only from version +3.6 and you will need the GD Avada Child theme and compatibility plugin, available here:

    I am aware I need the GD Avada Child theme and compatibility plugin.

    Seems like learning some CSS is a good idea, too?

    Avada comes with plenty of styling options for the CSS-challenged, but CSS is probably the easiest bit of coding to master for a site, and it allows you to personalise your site.
