Sort by package order, not package_id

Can you help me figure out how to use the sort to sort by package order, not package_id. If this sorts by package_id, I can never add or remove a package because the package_id is auto-increment and will mess up the order.

Platinum (highest level) = 7 package_id
Starter (lowest level) = 8 package_id
Silver (mid level) = 9 package_id

There is no way to sort that in order using package_id

Thanks for your post. Packages are sorted using the Order ID here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/packages/#settings . Do you mean this is not working for you?

GeoDirectory sorting will do package ID order. Sorting by a custom sort order will require a customization outside of what we can help with in support.
