Split: Multisite and Geo plugin updates – can't update

    Hello,

    I am running a multisite environment. File structure is sub-folders. Latest version of WP.

    GD plugins won’t update. I get this error:

    An error occurred while updating GeoDirectory Advance Search Filters: Could not create directory. geodir_advance_search_filters/advance_search_admin

    I should mention that I am developing the multisite locally using Desktop Server, in case that makes a difference.

    Did you try what Stiofan suggested in https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/multisite-and-geo-plugin-updates-cant-update/#post-331023

    It seems the updates will only show if the core and the addon are activated on the main site.
    I will work on a fix for this, for now it’s best you update via ftp, or you could activate them on the main site just to update.

    Yep, I don’t have any sub sites yet, so it’s only activated on the main site.

    Did u try deactivating and reactivating the licences?
    What domain are u using for localhost? (maybe just “localhost”?)
