I was trying to create a new post but could not find the area again to do so. I am trying to customize my directory search results to display the same way as the GD Starter page but each time I add the Social Media criteria’s they dont seem to appear on the page as it does in the GD Starter page. Also when clicking on a listing, I dont see claim listing, contact form or any of the category features as shown in your display. My theme does have a sidebar embedded on the same side these items, is there some way for me to list them someplace else on the page? perhaps below the description box?

Navigate to the most relevant forum or subforum and scroll to the bottom of the page.

Can we have more specifics please? What is the difference exactly? Screenshots or link may help.

You can add them anywhere you like. Have a look at GD > Settings > Pages > GD Detail page > Edit. You can change the layout of that page and add any custom field there.
Another possibility is to use the tabs at Places > Settings > Tabs. Thanks
July 24, 2019 at 12:27 am #499292Hello,
So I am still not seeing things in my Directory and Events the way that I would like to. I have demo files on my Events page that have social media links but when I create a new listing I am not shown a place to add any social media links. In addition, I have added the claim add-on feature but I don’t see it on my profile page in the directory, neither is the address displaying, recently viewed and more viewed. I am trying to replicate the starter demo but it appears that a few things are not appearing the same. Is there an easy way to get these items to display? Overall I love the directory I just want to fix these minor items to give a complete look. Oh and one last thing. Where do I go to set up the page that members are redirected to after claiming a listing? The instructions state that you have to have the manager installed. I do have this installed but I am not quite sure what users are supposed to see. I have attached both the demo file and my file to show you what I am referring to

You have excluded the custom fields from the events price package, see image 1.
Events > Settings > Packages > Edit package. In addition, I have added the claim add-on feature but I don’t see it on my profile page in the directory, neither is the address displaying, recently viewed and more viewed.
You did not add the Claimed custom field to the Events settings.
You did not add the GD > Claim Post widget to the detail page sidebar.
I set it up for you for Events only.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/Where do I go to set up the page that members are redirected to after claiming a listing? The instructions state that you have to have the manager installed.
Claiming a listing does not redirect, it stays on the same page as the listing claimed.
Thanks

July 24, 2019 at 12:14 pm #499341What problem …?
July 24, 2019 at 12:23 pm #499342Sir/Madam,
I am replying to your response to my request for assistance. Please read your reply to me. You stated what was wrong with my setup but you did not state how to fix it. Maybe it would help if you sent screenshots so that I could better understand you.You have excluded the custom fields from the events price package, see image 1.
Events > Settings > Packages > Edit package.(??? What am I suppose to be looking at here?)In addition, I have added the claim add-on feature but I don’t see it on my profile page in the directory, neither is the address displaying, recently viewed and more viewed.
You did not add the Claimed custom field to the Events settings.
You did not add the GD > Claim Post widget to the detail page sidebar. (How do I do this as the claimed custom field is not showing as an option when I create a new listing, also please provide the shortcode for the widget for the detail page)
I set it up for you for Events only.

Claiming a listing does not redirect, it stays on the same page as the listing claimed. (Ok it stays on the same page and does what exactly? Does this mean that anyone can claim a listing even if they are not the owner of the company?)
