    Hi, my name is German. Congratulations for this excelent plugin. I’m having a problem: I followed all the steps many times, even changed the wp_config language and the mo/po file name to make them match in another language, but it’s still not working. Can you help me?

    Hi,

    I’m sorry as we haven’t updated the video yet, but since version 4 of WordPress, the language is no longer set via wp-config, but from Settings >> General >> Language settings in wordpress dashboard.

    If that doesn’t solve, please provide a URL, admin and ftp credentials and we will have a look for you.

    Thank you for the answer. I changed the language writing the wp-config.php, through settings selecting español, changed the names of the po/mo to make them match. Nothing it’s working.

    What will you look if I grant you an account?

    If you provide the details Paolo is asking for, we will be able to check your files and their location.
    You need to translate the files using poedit, not just change the filename.

    this FTP user only gives me access to the wp-content/plugins/geodirectory folder.

    I think you didn’t read instructions carefully…

    I don’t see any GeoDirectory translation file in wp-content/languages/geodirectory

    You haven’t even created the geodirectory folder inside the wp-content/languages
