A few things going on.
How do I control the excerpt length of the listings? https://adventureability.org/find-adventures/
The page layout should look like this https://adventureability.org/competently-envisioneer-high/. (Note the page heading and padding between header and content.)
But when I go to “add a listing” the page design falls apart. https://adventureability.org/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
How can we fix this page? It looks horrible.
July 15, 2018 at 6:09 pm #4385411. Have a look at the settings of the Popular Post widget in the GD Home sections.
2. Please post your WP admin details so we can check the other issues.
Thanks

2. Some of your plugins need updating, and you need to add your licences.
Please let us know when that is done, then we can provide further support.

July 20, 2018 at 2:00 am #4390981. I am not trying to control the length of a widget. I am trying to control the actual exerpt on the page. This page. Not a widget. A page. https://adventureability.org/find-adventures/
Nothing to do with widgets. PAGE!
(Not to mention, my WIDGET is set to 20!) And this PAGE is showing everything.2. All plugins are up to date. And the plugins are not the issue anyway. And ALL license are installed and validated. Did you look at the page? Log in and see for your self. ALL license are there.
So please, how about some help? This page has issues, https://adventureability.org/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place. There is no padding at the top. Why?

As for the updates, I installed an updater plugin that I read about in your docs. WP Easy Updates was the recommended one. Now you want me to change that? Or do I use both? This is very confusing.
July 20, 2018 at 4:01 am #439115Most of your plugins are not up to date. Have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/ and compare the version numbers: Advanced Search, Buddypress Integration, Claim Manager etc.
They also seem to have been modified. Please note from https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
Support for Free Users (non members) is provided for website where only the core plugin is installed and used. If addons are installed and used (even only one addon), the user will have to subscribe again before being able to receive support.
We exclusively provide support for the latest version of both the Core plugin, add-ons and themes.July 20, 2018 at 4:34 am #439121I have logged in with our PAID user account. I have submitted a ticket with the update issues.
WHY are they not UPDATED? I installed the auto update plugin that you wrote about in your docs. So, WHY do I have out of date plugins? The auto update plugin is installed. And there is no notification that anything needs updating.
A PAID plugin that doesn’t update? You’re kidding right?
July 20, 2018 at 5:59 am #439129Please confirm if we can over-write the plugins to check.
Also, I can no longer login, so please check the password.
ThanksJuly 20, 2018 at 6:19 am #439131I will close this one, please refer to https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/auto-update-not-working/
