    Hi Malcom,

unfortunately that is something we saw happening in the past with Paypal disputes. For some reason the system drops the subscription thinking the dispute is still open.

I’ve added the subscription manually again. If you have this problem again, we will have to create a new user and link the subscription to it.

    Let us know,

If you mean the slideshow gallery inside the listing detail, It is automatically created once more than one image is uploaded. If you want to limit this feature to a specified package, you can set the image upload limit using the Prices and Payments add-on

What you mean with “how do we set these locations”?
Once you have added the cities in MultiLocations-Add/Edit Locations you can add places in these cities. Then you can add the Location Switcher in your menu, to do that you have first to set a menu in WordPress (Appareance-Menu) and then you can link the GD menu going in Design-
Show geodirectory navigation in selected menu locations.
After that you can add the Location Switcher in MultiLocations-Show location switcher in menu.

Are you having the 404 when clicking to a place? Check if your url will say /location/southafrica and not /locationsouthafrica, if this is not happening you should probably check your wordpress permalinks (Settings-Permalinks) and add a / after %postname%

PS- please search within the forum, your questions are probably been answered before 🙂

You cannot change a default location after adding listings.

DO NOT CHANGE ANY LOCATIONS in the MultiLocation Manager:
All listings in that location will be deleted if you do that, see note on the edit page: “Post will be deleted if both city and map marker position has been changed.”

Just MERGE bad location with the correct ones.
Create a correct one before merging if you do not have a correct one.

Providing links helps us pinpoint your problems a lot easier.

Please only use private messages if there is private data in the post. Others can learn from this topic as well if it matches their problem, but only if they can see all messages.

Ok thanks. I have a ton of questions and I cant find the answers for them in the forums. Where should I ask these questions as I was advised not to keep creating forum posts?

Fire away here, just keep it organised and clear, and number your questions.
I’ll do my best to get you started.
I assume you looked at http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com by now.
Sorry not everything is there yet, but we’re working on it.

    1) Everything was working fine and we could view an example listing but when I changed the default category it deleted it, I then readded it and not I am getting 404 page not found for all listings. Our permalinks are set to %postname. Also on the listings page there is none found?

    2) We are using custom template and I have managed to adapt the listing page listing-detail.php into our theme/geodirectory. We have outputted all the required fields except a) Map and b) Gallery. We are not sure what code to use to output them?

    3) We have our own search bar and need to incorporate the multi locations into it, we have Country and Region set and also a Place Category field. Not sure how to access the search code?

    4) We have split the listings in category types: Restaurants, Bars, Hotels etc. And We have 3 pricing structures Premium/Standard/Basic. I have added these to the prices addon and set them to gd_places but when we go to add a listing its just only shows the Package “Free: number of publish days are unlimited (0.00 USD)”. We need to beable to set to the 3 above.

    5) Is it possible to set an alternative homepage or can we change the template to fit our homepage theme?

Sorry about all the questions but we need to get this sorted I have trawled the forum and the documentation but cant find the answers.

    Cheers

    ~Mal.
