We have business listings that need to subscribe as a Place in order to showcase their location as well as their products and services. These businesses also provide events such as training courses, workshops and expos which also need to be listed. I am looking at the best way to incorporate ‘events’ and ‘places’ into the one subscription pricing level but I don’t believe it is possible because both are different CPT. For example: Bronze level would include 1 x category and no events, Silver level would include 5 x category and 2 events, Gold level would include 10 x category and 5 events etc.

What is the simplest and best way to achieve this? Ideally I do not want businesses to have to add multiple subscriptions based on different CPT as this could be off putting. Is there a way to include both ‘places’ and ‘events’ under the 1 subscription banner?

    Hi Kerrin,

Thanks for your reply. I’d like you to go through this article as it explains how to link an event to places https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-events-to-places/ . Let us know if it’s what you’re looking for.

    Thanks!

GeoDirectory pricing and payments are for individual listings.

You could speak with a GD Expert here about how to use 3rd party plugins to achieve some or all of what you are trying to do: http://geodirectoryexperts.com

Thanks Alex. That’s a shame. Being able to incorporate Events facility for premium listings would be great. Got to find a work around method that is simple and easy for customers to use.

I am not sure I completely understand your specific use case but it could be that the addition of a membership manager plugin will fit your needs gracefully.

Contact http://geodirectoryexperts.com if you need specific guidance about that.

The only thing I can think of is you could make a discount with WP Invoicing good for 5 uses on a certain event package for a 100% discount, make one like that for each person that buys the listing package.
