I’ve also noticed a customize your search button on one of your demos. I have advance search add on but don’t see any documents on how to use the custom field search using like radio or drop down menu. If there is a doc I’m not seeing please post it here. Thanks.
Ps. You’re right the previous issue only happens with FF I think because the search works fine in Chrome. Hmm.
May 9, 2016 at 1:15 pm #187095Hello,
The FF error message seems to be caused by the function firing twice but i can’t see why it’s firing twice, i have tried to replicate but i can’t. Have u made any customisations to any of the search code?
Stiofan
May 9, 2016 at 2:27 pm #187123To get the customize my search button you must install and configure the advance search add-on. Using Supreme, that button will never appear in the home page. Just FYI.
Thanks
May 9, 2016 at 3:02 pm #187136The only customization I’ve made to the search is the design as in adding a background that’s transparent and change the text size…are there still any wp cache files still in my files?
As for the customize my search button I’m pretty sure I have the advance search add on. I’m just not seeing any option about adding that button.
May 9, 2016 at 3:10 pm #187139For the advance search please see:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/
and an example:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/advanced-search-filters-addon-search-by-distance/
I buzzed Stiofan for the search problem on FF.
Thanks
May 9, 2016 at 3:46 pm #187166Thanks Paolo. So that covers the distance search but I was looking more so for ” pet friendly” option type of stuff which I seen in one of your demos. Is that no longer avaibale for customization?
May 9, 2016 at 3:48 pm #187167In each custom fields settings you will find an option “add to filter” (down at the bottom). If you enable and then click on the Advance Search Tab of place settings, you will find the new filter available to set up.
Let us know if that was the missing info.
May 9, 2016 at 3:55 pm #187173Ahh there we go. Yes that is exactly what I was referring to. Thank you!
May 9, 2016 at 4:00 pm #187176You are welcome 🙂
May 10, 2016 at 4:59 pm #187922Hey Paolo just wondering if Stiofan is available today to look into the error on FF.
May 10, 2016 at 8:33 pm #188040I’m sorry, Stiofan today has been stuck all day on more pressing issues.
I’m sure tomorrow he’ll reply to this post too.
Thanks for your patience
May 11, 2016 at 3:48 pm #188592Hello,

Thanks,
Stiofan
May 12, 2016 at 4:09 pm #189539Ok. Thank you Stiofan. Paolo I’m trying to use bever builder lite but im not getting any luck with it either. there seems to be some glitch somewhere unless i use the gd homepage widget in widgets section…
May 12, 2016 at 4:12 pm #189542Did you follow the docs regarding the home page?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/
Let me know,
Thanks
May 12, 2016 at 4:21 pm #189543Odd I thought I had done that already but yeah seems to be working now. SOrry about that…really thought I did that already. Thanks again though. Do you guys know roughly when the new versions wil be out and will it conflict with what I’ve already built?
