Guust, thanks for digging in there. I had tried all kinds of things. I guess I was trying too many things. By the time you got to it I had just tried putting some shortcodes in it again.
See, I was initially trying to use the Beaver and then Divi plugins. That snowballed into my trying to create a new page and change it in permalinks. That new page didn’t work any better with various plugins. So, from there I suppose I was trying all sorts of things and for some reason when I went back to using widgets on the location page I swear the popular post view did not work at all in the GD Home. I even had a different home than the original home at once and wasn’t sure if that was part of the problem.
So, when the GD plugins don’t work with a theme, then the GD theme doesn’t work with plugins, it’s really hard to know what’s going to work… I wasn’t at all intending on using Supreme. But, I like enough now.
I was having problems using my Divi Builder plugin, it wouldn’t work on the home page. I ended up buying the Beaver plugin. So, I’m enjoying that on the posts now. As long as I can get the theme were I feel it is “marketable” and I can be creative in the posts I’ll be very happy. I’m very close now I think. Now all I have left I think is to:
Test the search a little more from various angles.
Get the Author/Dashboard setup right
Get the affiliate plugin tight and right for residual commission on subscriptionsThen I’ll be SUPER DUPER STOKED UP HAPPY! This is the closest I’ve been to having something I am confident about pitching a directory. 🙂
April 14, 2018 at 1:08 am #426553You guys realize, my putting % in there was probably because it appears to tell you to:
“Enter the width of content section of home page in %”
Lol, you guys are nuts driving me nuts, love ya anyways…

1. CPT selector
There are two existing options for this:
A. The author page as a list of links to “my listings”, one for each CPT
B. The #loginbox, which is also setup.
Beyond that we recommend UsersWP or it is customization.2. My listing map (and map toggle) not visible on mobile
I have seen this to be the case on your site and my demo and have made a note to look into this mor fully. Thanks for pointing it out, and for your patience while we work on a resolution. It may come after GDV2 when we work on a new version of Supreme that is also GDV2 compatible. Updates will be posted back to this topic.
3. Get rid of my account
This a a CSS fix, let us know if you need it.
Let me know if I missed something there!
April 14, 2018 at 10:21 pm #426638Thanks
what is “get rid of my account”? I suppose you’re saying there is css to make it so someone can delete their account? if so, that may be a good thing to have so sure please provide if that’s what it is.as for the CPT selector for authors, are you just sharing what is already in place? And, what is #loginbox, is that a way of saying there’s the widget?
April 14, 2018 at 10:58 pm #4266401. CSS here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/authordashboard-layout-for-supreme/#post-426343
2. Yes, you have them in place now.
#Loginbox is the widget version https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#loginbox
