Did you check our translator’s handbook?
Its really based on your GTE and locale manager to approve your translation. Make sure you contact them often and be their friends. If you already translated alot of of the strings, chance to get your self approved to become our PTE also higher. So you might want to make a request to become our PTE on WordPress. PTE can validate the translations on the specific project.

You can also contact me on slacks @ismiaini and make a direct message to locale manager or GTE and include me on the chat. So i can vouch for your request.

I just signed in Transifex and also, translated 700 strings directly on WP and planning to go on this week. https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/geodirectory/stable/es-ar/default?I would like to be a PTE for your product.

I can translate fully in French or at least I can correct spelling. Most of the French translations are not correct and seem to come directly from Google Translate.
