    Hi
There is source text: „%s Tags: %l“ on my .po file (for listing page or for file geodirecotry_templates_actions.php:1261) where %s stands for place singular name and %l stands for tags.
I need to translate it to „mytext: tags“ while excluding word for „place“ (my language grammatic is different and it is not correct keeping place singular name there and it makes no sens with it). So it seems i should just exclude „%s“ and keep „%l“, but when i add translation without %s at the beginning i get it translated on my page as: „mytext: place singlar name“ instead of „mytext: tags“. So it seems whatever letter i use after %, the place name comes always as first and tag as second on browser.
The same goes for translating „%s Category: %l“. Is there any way to translate it as i need without changing the code?
    Thanks in advance.

The only suggestion I have is to put some code around %s so it does not show, for example

    <span style="display:none;">%s</span>

but I will get other support staff to have a look too at your question, they may have brighter ideas.

    Thanks

Ok, thanks! Your solution is good for me at translating those strings.
