September 23, 2015 at 5:52 pm #54236Hi Scott,
I’m not not sure I understand the problem, there shouldn’t be a default map address.
Where did you enter it?
If you provide admin credentials in a private reply (only staff can read them) we will have a look into your settings.
Thanks
September 23, 2015 at 9:22 pm #54273That seems to be the StreetAddress. You need to adjust the street address to just “EasyWays”, by editing the listing.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/multilocation/PS: your GD plugin needs updating too.
September 24, 2015 at 3:14 pm #54375is there a max distance then that it work for ?
it worked before I upgraded the avid theme
will the site be ok when I update the plugin ?
September 24, 2015 at 3:51 pm #54382Hi again,
The GeoDirectory free plugin only allows to submit listing in 1 location. Be it a village, town or city. The theme update has nothing to do with this.
With the MultiLocations add-on you can list everywhere in the world or in selected locations, that you decide.
Keeping plugins updated is the only way to keep your website always ok.
Thanks
September 24, 2015 at 4:40 pm #54388BUT when i change the default it works for different locations ass you can see
September 24, 2015 at 5:15 pm #54394Yes, but you change location for the old listings as well.
Without the MultiLocation add-on you cannot have a multi location directory.Thank you
September 24, 2015 at 8:04 pm #54430All the locations are OK for Campbeltown Tarbert & machrahanish I had to change the location map default for each one to do it
I wonder why they work without the multi location add on ?September 24, 2015 at 8:42 pm #54431I had to change the location map default for each one to do it
Normally that should change the location in all listings. I don’t know why it isn’t doing it, in any case you are forcing the plugin to do something it isn’t supposed to be doing and that we do not support.
Thank you
September 25, 2015 at 10:41 am #54484Hi Scott,
on the surface it might seem to work but in the DB all these places will only ever be in the default location, it will cause you nothing but problems in the future, its best to get the multilocations adon or our membership which includes al addons.
Thanks,
Stiofan
October 1, 2015 at 8:56 am #55324I’ve just bought the locations add on is is quite simple to implement on the site ?
October 1, 2015 at 10:12 am #55328Hi Scott,
Yes, it should just be a case of activating it, that would be it 🙂
If you have any problems it’s best to start a new post as this one has been marked as resolved so will be at the back of the list.
Thanks,
Stiofan
October 1, 2015 at 1:13 pm #55353hi there i just activated the multi location add on plugin and the site went blank though I had;’t updated the geo plugin before hand so I deleted the plugin add on and the site is not showing ok
I’m too scared to update just now just incase the site goes down as it has to stay active at moment
also takes about 6 hours to restore a back up
