Question 1: I found on support how to change bg colors for all widgets, but how do I change colors on individual widgets? I searched everywhere on support and cannot find how to manipulate individual widgets on single pages. I even tried custom html using shortcodes because I would like to manipulate the titles (too small).

Question 2: I thought I saw a way to make the page full-width but am not able to find that setting anywhere. 100% in the geodirectory dashboard doesn’t truly mean 100%. My objective is to change widget color and have it go full-width similar to header and footer.

    Thanks,
    Joel

    Hello!

For both of these issues a developer or designer would need to take a look at your page.

1# Write custom CSS for each widget to change the attributes. Each Widget area like a sidebar and each individual widget are wrapped in a unique CSS id. For example, the “Feature Requests” on the right here on this page is wrapped in a Widget ID “text-5”. CSS rules targeting that ID would apply only to that ID.
2# Customize your site with CSS for widget or feature div id to remove the padding from the div wrapped around the element that you want to be 100%

Thanks for the fast response. Is there a listing of the names for the GD widgets?

Also, if I want to change the widget for only home page versus for all pages. Is that possible?

    Hello!

You can see the widgets listed here
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/

But if you are trying adjust the CSS, you can see all the information inside the page code.

If you want to make CSS changes to your site with CSS it may be worth your time to read this page:
