Unable to edit/add pictures after publishing

    Hi guys, my users are having trouble with editing the photos on their adverts in regards to adding and removing the photos. Its fine when creating a listing, but when on the edit listing page it doesn’t seem to work.

    Could you have a look into this please?

    Also users dont seem to be getting emails when their advert is published. Any setting I’ve missed?

    Hi Dotty,

    I’ve just tested your Website and I’m able to see the issue there. This looks like a plugin conflict. Could you please deactivate all non-GD plugins while reactivating each to determine which 3rd party plugin is causing the issue? Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Kor,

    I’ve disabled many of the plugins and still doesnt seem to be working. It almost looks like the area for uploading images is not active.

    For example if i drag a photo onto the area, it just opens a new tab with the local address of the image.

    Not sure what to do.

    Hi Dotty Directory,

    I would need your permission to perform a conflict test on your Website. It would probably take around 20-30minutes. Also, it would be better if you could perform a full backup of your Website just in case anything goes wrong.

    Forgot to mention we ask for additional details too like “Title” (Mr,Ms,Miss,Mrs) is there a way to add them if i have to get rid of PieRegister

    Hi Dotty,

    Sorry, I don’t think we have a recommendation for you and I’d suggest that you try searching in WordPress.org for another “Registration” plugin that would work on your Website.

    Technically, it could be achieved with some custom modification to the plugin but unfortunately doing that falls outside the scope of what we offer for support.     Thanks for your work, I found the solution

    Its a Jquery conflict between GeoDirectory and Pie Register.

    To allow the upload of images/removal from the add listing page during “edit”.

    You need to disable the jquery setting in your pie register settings, check your pieregister afterwards as it can break it. If it doesnt break pieregister you should be good to go

    Hopefully this helps someone in the future
