UsersWP BETA + GD integration + UWP reCAPTCHA

Hello members,

we always liked BuddyPress a lot, but we are aware that not everyone needs a full blown social network for their website, in fact, for most websites BuddyPress is considered an overkill.

What most websites need are a Front End Register form with custom fields and form builder, a Login Form, Users Profiles and a Members Directory.

Because We don’t particularly love any of the solutions that are already available on the market, we find them bloated with far too many options, we decided to work on one ourselves and create a simple and lightweight solution.

Today we are ready to release this new plugin in BETA, exclusively for active GeoDirectory members.

Props to Giri for leading the development of this project and obviously to Stiofan for the supervision.

Both Stiofan and I spent a quite some time testing it, so it should be fairly stable.

As I mentioned before, we wanted it to be as simple as possible and there are very few options, so installing it and configuring it, should be easy and mostly self-explanatory.

Along with UsersWP today we release for testing as well the UWP GeoDirectory Integration and the UWP reCAPTCHA add-on.

GeoDirectory Integration

After activation the GeoDirectory tabs in the profile pages are disabled. You will need to enable them and setup all other few options.

It works almost identically to our BuddyPress integration.

UWP reCAPTCHA Add-on

All you have to do is create the API key and secret and paste them in the respective fields. Decide where you want the reCAPTCHA widgets and which user roles should see them and which not.

Remember that they are BETA version and it could premature to use them in a live website. Please report any bugs you find in a reply to this topic. We will fix them all as fast as we can.
