Hi,
I have just reached geodirectory membership and try first to setup my themes after installing the plugin.
1- I realised that for using 3 of the included themes:
Geo 1280 Theme,Geo Bold Theme, Geo Travel Theme
I must install the “genesis” parent theme.
The “genesis” parent theme cost 60$ and is not included in the membership payment. So The three theme (Geo 1280 Theme,Geo Bold Theme, Geo Travel Theme) are not included too !
And when I try to use the Whoop theme I have error:

Did I paye for the directory starter and supreme directory?I have already read this post: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/install-the-parent-theme-genesis-before-you-can-use-this-child-theme/
To be honest I am not happy and surprised and realy want to have a solution to my two problems to let my project start.
March 20, 2019 at 9:53 pm #475614Hello
true, you need Genesis core to use Genesis themes.
We can take a look at your Whoop error, certainly, if you would just place your WP Admin credentials in a private reply along with your login URL. We will check your site settings and try to find the problem.
If you are starting a new directory you should use GDV2. GDV2 works well with any theme including 3rd party themes and builders.
March 21, 2019 at 12:35 pm #475704Hello,
I understand that I need Genesis core to use Genesis theme “I would have liked, if it was written so clearly on the first page” .
But, the facts to write on the web site: All Add-ons;All Themes; All New Products: mean ALL including Genesis Theme. For my credentiels, I’m actually working on my local machine not on the web.
Can you please provide a Genesis core theme test version that I can install only on my local machine?
Thank youMarch 25, 2019 at 1:43 pm #476323Hi,

March 25, 2019 at 4:39 pm #476359Hi sid Che,
Thanks for your reply. I think you’ve installed the wrong version of the plugin, could you double check? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#version
Thanks!

1. the Whoop theme is still not working.

The article you were looking for was not found, but maybe try looking again! See the second attached document : Error 404March 30, 2019 at 2:09 am #477174Whoop is not ready for V2 yet. You can use any other 3rd party theme or Supreme or Directory starter or the Genesis themes.
Try resaving your permalinks or changing them as advised in the warning:
