Whoop v2 beta is now available here for download (attached to the bottom of this post)

This like GDv2 is a whole new version, in-fact Whoop v2 is now a child theme of our free Directory Starter theme and Whoop v2 will also be free 🙂

If installing after GDv2 then it is advised to run the GD Setup Wizard again as there are new options to insert new page template info and setup ratings style under the content section. (You can find the wizard under any GD settings page, click the “help” tab at the top right and then Setup Wizard).

The following addons add extra built in functionality:
    1. Advanced search (will show archive filters when set up)
    2. Multiratings (will allow comment upload and display user review images in main listing images)
    3. List Manager (replicates save listing functionality)
    4. Claim listings (shows claimed blue tick)

Please test and provide feedback so we can improve Whoop v2 before full release.

    Team GeoDirectory.

Could you please put up a video tutorial of Whoop: Installation & Integrations for V2?

Please , it would save us a lots of time. And would save you time in answering support questions too.

We will make a video, but it should all be rather simple, just run the GD setup wizard after install, all options can be set on the content section.

The UI for search results looks is not user friendly on mobile browser. Could you please change it to a list view similar to yelp and google maps?

I think it’s best to remove the restaurant description (the paragraph) from the search results page. That way users can view more without scrolling.

You can make adjustments by editing the Archive and Archive item templates.
