    Hi,
I just upgraded to GeoDirectory V2. What I disappointment! I have to redo everything, the only good thing that I see it that my database of listings are still there.

Any ways, so I am staring with redoing the front home page. Before I was using the G-Advertise widget and GD->features for my content at the bottom of the page, but those widgets are no longer there, so I need to figure out a new way to do it with the new widget.

My problem is that I am trying to test the widgets and I am placing them on “GD Bottom” and in “GD TOP” but when I refresh my page, there is no change as if I did not add any widgets?

Before I was adding the widgets to “GD Home Botton Section” now I don’t know where to add them, is that equivalent for “GD Bottom” if so, why are the widget not showing in the buttom of my home page?

    Please advise.

You are using Supreme. Different page templates show different sidebars.

Take a look at the doc for more info:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/supreme/

Try using the “Default template” and see if that works for you.

Ok, so I looked at the link you provided above, but I am still confused.

Before, I would just add Widgets to ““GD Home Bottom” to create more content at the bottoms of the main website.

Now with V2, how do I add content to the bottom of the home page?

    Thank you.

Edit the page and add shortcodes.
You can install the classic editor, if you haven’t already.

Are you saying that I can not add widgets to my home page partycoop.com? That I need to use shortcodes in order to add anything to my home page?

Or do I have to create a Page and some how assign it as my home page?

    Thanks,
    Rigo

Yes, unless you have a way to add widgets to a page.
You should create a page and assign it as front page.
