We’re using https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/wp-all-import/ to import existing data.
I’ve tried to use the new importer, but this doesn’t have any of the additional fields, and no method to map them.It looks like the WP All Import Geodirectory plugin doesn’t import any fields with dropdowns.
For example, we’re trying to set “Category” and this always imports blank.
The same happens for custom fields, such as “Delivers To” (which is a multiselect)We’re just setting these to comma-separated values.
It doesn’t seem to set even for a singular category (i.e. plain text without a comma)Please help!

Can you see the section heading called “Geodirectory” on the import configuration page?
July 16, 2019 at 4:18 pm #498009Hi Alex,
Yes the “Geodirectory Add-On” section shows in WP All Import.
I have set Categories to categories{1}
I have also set this in “Taxonomies, Categories, Tags” to “each shop has multiple categories”, separated by “,”, and trying to match existing categories.
The format of our data for categories{1} are categories which exist and are values including “Luggage Shop”, and “Electrionics Accessories,Electrionics Shops”
After running the import, these fields are not populated.
Neither are any other fields which have multiple selections (e.g. tags, and our own custom fields)I’ve used WP All Import quite a lot before, and this has always been successful with normal posts.
How should these be formatted?
July 16, 2019 at 5:44 pm #498040OK, sounds like you did the setup correctly.
Could you share with us the link to the import you are working with and the WP Admin credentials so we can debug the issue?

Thanks for your patience while they do that.

Hey Scott,
Same problem here as with the sorting I think.
The import they’ve written just doesn’t work. This is all set up in WP All Import – there’s not all that many
settings, and there’s nothing I can change about the import that would
solve it. Would be best to contact them as they will need to solve it
there (like they did with the categories). The only option I have is to
pull their plugin apart and fix it myself, which isn’t going to be very
easy.Thanks,
Dug
