    Hello:

I just want to verify before purchasing WP All Import if the following are possible:

    1. Can the admin import listings on behalf of listing owner? I would like to allow my clients to upload a CSV file to their website and I just periodically import it to my website and update listing status, price and other details.

    2. I understand I can import a listing and update listings but during the importing of the CSV file mentioned in Item #1, I want to confirm that I will not overwrite or affect any previous listing inquiries (Ninja Form integration) while importing. Are the previous inquiries safe for that listing after an import?

    3. Assume my site is for vehicle listings and I want to keep all listings so someone can search by VIN and find all the listings for that vehicle on our site. Think a simple way to create a type of Car Facts or MLS History.

For WP All Import, I presume I would use a Unique Key of VIN-ListingOwnerID-ExpirationDate. This would prevent listing conflicts between vehicles, WordPress accounts, and between listings if one dealer/owner acquires the same car back in their inventory at a future date. Also, when dumped to excel would allow me to quickly determine what car, who owns it, when the ad should be done. and A and allow me to store all data related to a vehicles entire history except if they updated the details within the same ad. Normally a random number generated would be okay but I need to use something listing specific that the dealer would know about and that I suppose would be when their ad should end. It would also let me quickly change status on any where the expiration date is passed. This would also then catalogue all old listings. From my understanding, the unique ID will not be a searchable field, so I can use clean values.

    4. For NinjaForm inquiries, is there a management interface for all inquiries from a specific listing owner or is that only available to the admin and therefore listing owner must click on each listing to review the inquiries?

I would like a listing owner to look at all inquiries even for expired listings (a new car may match someones preferences from a couple weeks ago and the dealer can do a look back).

Thank you for your time and interest in reading this post.

    Warmest Regards,

    Jonathan

Yes, that is possible with the normal GD import too.

Imports never touch anything to do with inquiries for a listing.

I am not sure I understand completely, but a custom field called VIN seems to be a lot simpler. Searching for a VIN will return all listings that have used that VIN.

Only admin has access to saved enquiries. Ninja may have other options, maybe you could ask them.

    Thanks

I did not know that you could load listings using GD import from remote (on clients website, not mine) CSV/XML files. That is awesome!

Imports never touch anything to do with inquiries for a listing.

Thank you for confirming. I asked because sometimes the data is stored on the same object as the listing in the database and that could cause issues with bugs in importer tools, etc.

I apologize, I should have clarified. When I mean unique ID – I am referring to the Unique ID mentioned in the WP All Import Tutorial Video (Step 4 – it is preloaded in URL): WP All Import Tutorial Video – Step 4 I was being very complicated in deciding on this unique ID. I actually will probably use vehicle acquisition date versus expiration date so they can keep advertising/updating listings without a laundry list of listings being fed into the website for no reason.

I will be speaking to them as well and most importantly speaking to ZEROBS CRM who I thought I had a thread to discuss integration with them but I can not find it in my ticket list. Did some threads get removed?

    Thank you.

Not really what I meant, but you can download the CSV file from your users’ website and then you can upload as admin.

Topics do not get removed. I cannot find any topic with the keyword ZEROBS either.

    Thanks

I thought you meant the manual version. WP All Import can download and update from a remote URL which is very helpful because I am hoping I can have people maintain their listings in Google Sheets and then I Just transload them into the website automatically using a CronJob.

I think the ZEROBS Conversation was through email possible. I could have sworn I went into extreme detail. I know for a fact I have talked to ZEROBS CRM in depth about it.

As in my other post, I want to be able to collect ZEROBS CRM Leads for my clients ZeroBS CRM installations through my site using your Ninja Forms integration. I do not even mind if they need to lead collect using “teams” on my installation but I would prefer it sends the lead to their install through the API. Even if I could tie in just my ZEROBS install to the forms so I could lead collect would be a good start!

Currently, a client can not even manage listing inquiries on your site, only the admin can see the listings. This is very problematic if a client does not receive an email for some reason.

    Warm Regards,

    Jonathan

We can assist with GD problems, so if we need to have a look as to why your system is not sending inquiries to your users if they are submitted from their listing, then post your URL and WP admin in a private reply and we will have a look.

    Thanks
