    Hi guys,

I see you recommend WP Super Cache in the documentation. I see you also recommend Autoptimize and have recommended settings for Autoptimize here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/autoptimize-settings/

Have you any recommended settings for WP Super Cache to let it best work with GD V2?

I am thinking, among other things, will the “GD Listings” widget not display a newly added gd_place listing if caching is turned on as it will not re-index it.

Also things like GD Search results, perhaps being cached also and not showing newly added listings.

    Thanks in advance,

    Adrian

    Hi there,

Thanks for your post. You can refer to this section of the documentation that explains about the WP Super Cache settings https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/wp-super-cache/ . No, you don’t have to clear the cache every time you insert a new listing. Same goes to search.

    Thanks Kor,

You might need to update the documentation at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/wp-super-cache/

It says “Enable: Don’t cache pages for known users.”

However, in the later versions of WP Super Cache this is not an option. So, would “Disable caching for logged in visitors. (Recommended)” do the same thing?

Also, the 2 steps in your documentation on ONLY settings you should have with GD…. I see WP Super Cache has an option called “Compress pages so they’re served more quickly to visitors. (Recommended)” – sounds like a good idea but not mentioned in your documentation.

    Thanks a mil,

    Adrian

    Hi Adrian,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, this option “Disable caching for logged-in visitors” should be the same. I will go through the docs. 🙂

    Thanks!
