Using the Directory Starter Theme, every time I put a YouTube link in the page does not resolve properly on my Android phone. Not sure about iPhones. See this link
https://www.wewhoserved.com/for-businesses/Looks fine on a PC but not on a smartphone.
Also did not see a way to put in a Sidebar on the Blog page.
November 8, 2018 at 10:31 am #453015Hello,
I saw a similar issue the other day caused by Fusion builder plugins, resizing the mobile body dimensions. If it isn’t that plugin, try disabling other non-GD plugins to see which one is causing that issue.
The Supreme blog sidebar can be enabled through the customizer settings. Check it out and let us know how it goes.
November 8, 2018 at 2:20 pm #453054Sorry to report that did not help. I even tried removing the CSS code given to me previously so the Jetpack Contact form would properly display and that did not help. I’m guessing it could be a similar issue that can be fixed by some additional CSS but I’m not savvy when it comes to that. Here is the code previously given to me that fixed the Jetpack Contact form display in case it helps.
.contact-form div {
overflow: hidden;
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 1040px) {.map_category {display: none;}}November 8, 2018 at 3:00 pm #453067PS The Sidebar Blog does not show either. It has several widgets in it including the YouTube and nothing shows. Here is a link to the only blog post I started

thanks for writing back. I checked the two issues on your site.
1. Page size with youtube video – I can see on your site that the youtube video is breaking out of the page width on mobile. I don’t see anything obvious and the developers will take a look and let us know.
2. Blog page sidebar – this looks like a bug. Even though there are widgets in the blog sidebar, and the blog sidebar is enabled in the customizer, the sidebar doesn’t show on blog pages.
I will flag this for the developers and they will fix it and provide an update here. Thanks for your patience while they look into it.
November 10, 2018 at 7:18 pm #453516Hi Alex,
Thanks for the reply. The biggest issue I have right now is the display of a YouTube video. Is there a quick CSS fix that I can use for that? I’ve looked at using the 2017 them but there are some issues with that as well. I tried installing the Divi Theme and it broke the website completely. The Starter theme seems perfect except for these two bugs. I’ve looked at your other themes that I can use for free and Starter is still the best one at this stage of development. As we grow I might move to a more advanced theme.Thanks again!
November 10, 2018 at 7:19 pm #453517PS the developers should also know that if the only thing on the page is a YouTube video it displays fine. It is only when you add text that the page goes out of whack. Hope that helps.
November 11, 2018 at 5:21 pm #453632Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. Could you share the URL of the page in question so that I could check and see if it’s possible to fix using custom CSS?
Thanks!
November 11, 2018 at 11:21 pm #453656Hi Kor,
I had taken the video out of the page I wanted it on since it did not display correctly on smartphones. I just created a “test” page so you can work with it.

November 12, 2018 at 12:09 pm #453746Hi Michael,
Try using the custom CSS code below and see if it fixes it. Insert into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS
iframe.youtube-player {width:100%!important;}
November 12, 2018 at 12:58 pm #453757I have added a fix for this which will be in the next release of DS.
Thanks,
Stiofan
November 12, 2018 at 1:21 pm #453763Thanks Kor. That worked well. The vertical is a bit off when it starts to play but most folks will turn their phones sideways and make it full screen. That’s what I do when I watch a YouTube on my phone but then again, I’m an old guy!
Thanks, Stiofan. Look forward to seeing the new release that also fixes the Blog posts sidebar display!
Regards,
MikeNovember 12, 2018 at 4:47 pm #453793Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply. It seems you’ve removed the test page again. Well, let us know if you need anything further.
Thanks!
