GaynorAugust 2, 2014 at 1:25 pm #10777Hi Gaynor
I’m happy to give you a price.
Can you provide a few more details?
1. Have you installed WP?
2. What theme do you intend to use?
3. Do you just want installation of the plugins you listed, and creation of one category and one listing for each? Or do you have more details of what you have in mind?August 2, 2014 at 1:57 pm #10781Hi
At the moment I have new domain, wp installed, geodirectory, and the avada template installed but having problems with dummy content not appearing correctly on both the front end and in the editor – so figured a fresh install of the whole lot may fix and I ahve uninstalled and reinstalled without it being fixed.
Avada theme is preferred – unless the geo child theme is much faster to load?
Would be good to just have the dummy data on the site and password protect to avoid it being indexed.
Thanks

Or, remove this from the sidebar…
Are you a developer?
Make Money with GD JobsCheck out the GeoDirectory Jobs Forum, there may be a new client waiting for your services.
Only Premium members can access the GD Jobs forum.
August 4, 2014 at 12:39 pm #10914Hi PurpleEdge, the private conversation above is in my own capacity, which anybody could do in private messages if they wanted to keep their quote private. Moderators can offer their services too, aside from providing free service as per https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/.
I’ll set the topic as resolved so, it is clear that the job has been awarded.
August 5, 2014 at 12:22 am #10974Hi Guust, My understanding is that “only moderators can see private messages” as is mentioned numerous times in the forums.
How can GD users create private messages with the initiator of the job request, that are visible only to the initiator and responder?
August 5, 2014 at 11:00 am #10997Purpleedge, that is not possible, admins and moderators always can read all posts. And the initiator of the topic can also read all private messages within a topic; other users can only read the private message they create.
I suggest that you contact other users in a private message sharing your email address if you want to have real private conversation.
August 5, 2014 at 11:37 am #11007Hence my first comment. Why pretend this forum is set up so that independent developers can vie for work when the mechanism to do so doesn’t exist and what does exists clearly favours admins?
August 5, 2014 at 11:44 am #11011Sorry, purpleedge, but I don’t see the advantage.
Anybody could have put a private message with their contact details to get a conversation going.
I will definitely just exchange emails if I am interested in a job, to remove any impression of bias. -
