    But we can’t, can we? Only the initiator and admins can exchange private messages. If I post a private message here only you can see it. Or am I mistaken?

    I’m never likely to bid on a job, but if GD are claiming to open up support opportunities to private developers the system needs to be fair, and be seen to be fair.

    If you create a private message, then the initiator will also be able to read it. That is why you should never post private details unless you want to share them with admins AND the initiator of the topic

    … admins and moderators always can read all posts. And the initiator of the topic can also read all private messages within a topic; other users can only read the private message they create …
