Hi Support Team
Just overnight I witnessed the following issues:
No listings published anymore
I receive the confirmation email and everything but the listing isnt published nor visible in the draft folder. Settings are set to “publish” for new listings.Coupon error
The plugin does not recognize my set coupons anymore. I used various coupons but not one of them worked anymore. Limit is set to unlimitedgateway 504 error
After trying to publish a new listing, I sometimes received a 504. All other parts were working and other sites were reachable as well. So i guess protocol error?I did not change anything before these errors ocured, however I was using not updated plugins. I have then updated all of the plugins but the issues remained the same.
Could one of you guys please have a look? I have customers calling me that they cant register and I am losing money if I can’t provide a fix asap :-/
Thanks a ton in advance for your effort
Dom

April 5, 2016 at 6:02 pm #158040This reply has been marked as private.April 5, 2016 at 6:06 pm #158042i have now also found out that during the checkout process all my translations were overridden by the updated version of the payment manager. how can that be, shouldnt my german language files remain in the folder and used by the plugin..?
April 5, 2016 at 6:13 pm #158047No translation must be saved in the correct folder: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/
I’m checking your website now.
April 5, 2016 at 6:17 pm #158050Hi,
it seems to be all working correctly now that all add-ons are updated.
Let us know how to recreate any problem if that is not the case.
Thanks
ps I added a test listing in beauty category (for you to delete)
April 5, 2016 at 6:25 pm #158058is this new with the translation folder (new since the new license system)? because i cant find this folder in the named place.
do i have to create this folder on my own?
previously i have placed the .mo within the main plugin language folder:wp-content/plugins/geodir_payment_manager/geodir-payment-languages/
April 5, 2016 at 6:33 pm #158065Hi,
it has always been like that:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translate-core/
You need to create folder languages in wp-content and a folder for each plugin inside that.
Examples:
Core plugin: /wp-content/languages/geodirectory/geodirectory-en_US.mo
Advanced search : /wp-content/languages/geodiradvancesearch/geodiradvancesearch-en_US.mo
and so on…
Otherwise when you update the plugin you lose your translation file.
Thanks
April 5, 2016 at 6:44 pm #158170ok thank you
next issue:
i replaced the featured.png with a german translation one.
it worked just fine.however, after the updates i again replaced the featured image with my custom one, but it does not take it. i deleted the old one and replaced it but it still wont use it.
i tried it with different browsers and cleared my browser cache. can i force the plugin to use the new image (it seems as if the site itself cached it somehow)
April 5, 2016 at 6:49 pm #158176and now after editing an entry I received an:
“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at root@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”
I tried to delete a not working image from the post “isy nails”, after updating i received this error
April 6, 2016 at 3:18 pm #158722Hi,
for the featured ribbon, you shouldn’t be replacing the original image.
You should create your new image, upload it to your medias via WP and get the URL.
Then add this css in gd > design > script > custom css:
ul li .geodir_featured_img { background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) url(“ADD THE NEW IMAGE URL HERE”) no-repeat scroll 0 0; }
and add the URL for your new image where it says: ADD THE NEW IMAGE URL HERE
The internal server error, as it said, looks to be a server issue. We would need at least an error log to see what is causing it. Please ask to your hosting support to let us know,
Thanks
