When I use the Link function on the pricing plugin for Events its only pulling up one custom post of info Places, not the other Custom Posts I have created.
This needs to link to every CP you create or have a choice to enable the CP created in the Link to function.
This is so useful in some cases as people don’t have to keep typing in there details in the fields, when they are regular users.
Cab you detail how to fix this issue, or will you now update to allow the whole CP areas to add.September 26, 2014 at 6:15 pm #16688Hi,

Also please note that the link list it supplies needs to be in alphabetical order to select. At the moment it’s in random order very important 🙂

hopefully in next release (can’t promise it though). The developer started working on it already. This is aprt of a bigger re-work of this function.
Linked event will appear in a new tab (similar to related listings). It will work for all CPT and in my opinion the link list shouldn’t be provided at all. If you have millions of listings it would become unusable. A search field with autocompleter would be the ideal solution.

Yes I totally agree and love the idea of having a Tab/Search Field with an Autocompleter as you type to select the pre added business etc, at the top of the Events Section will be the best place just after the Date/Time or before this area, this would be a superb way to action, and yes a pick list could become huge and non workable on large directories.
The Individual CPTs you add could have an add to the Selection Tab Autocompleter Yes/No as not all CPT may need to be in the autocomplete selection list.
I think it may also be a good idea to pull any original pics into the selection once chosen as well with an option to change them if needed, this keeps the Media area not duplicated with the same images auto named etc once published.

The main additions needed now are.1. All fields including Website, Email, Twitter, Facebook, Phone, video etc need to be pulled into the listing as well to ensure a fast repeat event etc without having to type it all again, only the date of event, time and map info need to be clear.
2. Showing/bringing in the existing image stored and used to be able to repeat or delete and change would be good as well.
How do you feel about my recommendations.

I’ve published the request now. Sorry, but during week ends things can take a bit longer.
Any developer could sure find a solution to this, but we have a long list of things that have been requested before this and they have priority.
